I always had good service by the lumbar department here compared to the Pleasanton location. Customer service is also extremely helpful. The Home Depot of San Ramon has a better variety and better selection of things you dont find in most other Home Depots. ![]() Ordered sth for delivery, waited long time. People are impatient in helping customer. Also, the location is beautiful when driving there from almost any direction. I like this Home Depot - it seems to be clean and organized and the other customers and staff are friendly. Ended up at richert lumber and they gathered them, cut them and loaded them in my car as thier normal service. I wanted to ask for a manager about a special promotion, but when the associate walked me over to him, he didnt even acknowledge the associate and was using vulgar language towards another associate! Horrible business management! If I get bitten, there will be hell to pay!!! Look.some people are allergic, dogs sometimes bite, or fight with each other. And whats with letting everyone bring their dogs into the store. Theyre barely ok.Door and window department is not good at followup. Chump change for HD but still sad that I was there to buy and no one would allow me to do that. How is the special order shop not open on weekends? So, I took my $1800 lumber order elsewhere. RAMON AT HOME ONLINE STORE PROHe looked at me like "I do online orders only, why are you bugging me?" then proceeded to tell me that he couldnt help and that Id have to come back when the Pro Shop was open. So I walked to the other end of the store where some grumpy old dude was taking online orders. The pro shop was closed and I was told that the customer service department could help me. I went to the Pro Shop at 3pm on Saturday. I was told that because I wanted 20 foot long boards that I needed to go talk to the Pro Shop for a special lumber order. For example, I wanted to buy some lumber for a deck. Now it feels like most employees dont know what the heck they are talking about. They built their reputation on customer service. 20 years ago HD was the most helpful place. Usually employees wander around the store but do their best to avoid eye contact with you. I dont want to bucket everyone together because Ive had a few ok experiences, but most of the employees at this store are not helpful.
